A diptych for the diptych portrait competition
I got the idea from talking to a co-worker about Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. She, like many I've encountered, found Holden to be whiny and annoying. Then I realized something... with some books, like Catcher the reader (and especially the writer) has to be a little schizo to really understand and relate to the characters. I don't know... go find your own interpretation.
This is my very last photo for my "modeling career", I'm just not model material... I'm much better behind the camera. The photo to the right was shot point blank with high flash (because my lighting was sucking) and the one to the left was shot with a fan, orangy lighting, and my finger over the flash and... well, I kinda like the reddish effect it made. *sucks at technical terms* I adjusted the contrast and levels a bit and put them together. I liked these two photos because they're the exact same pose (I tried many poses).
