How I worked my ass off to be a Gallery Director (or whatever you're calling them now days) and I doubt I was even -considered-, YET I'm still getting notes about violations I reported *TWO YEARS AGO* finally being taken down.
It sucks, for sure, but just for clarity of though and direction of angst, they've long since told GDs to not handle any reports. It's now the job of however few policy violation police people dudes there are. And I wouldn't be surprised if by now GDs don't even have the access to deal with reports.
Honestly, I'm not sure - which is not to imply they don't do anything - I'm just not as active and tuned in to dA as I used to. I think, at around the time I left, the intention was for GDs to do less 'work' and more community stuff. Things like DDs, news items, activities, contests, etc.
...not sure about the zombies though. Unless you remember something I've forgotten
I used to split my time between creative pursuits and video games, but for the last two years almost it's been nothing but video games. I kick ass at a couple, but err, yeah, kinda lame
Yeah, I really haven't had any creative impulses in... years, really. Just enjoying video games and school work. I've decided to not be too bothered with GDs or DDs or stuff like that. But, I think I'll finally be coming back because I opened up Photoshop yesterday to do some textured work and I miss it. I miss the textures at least, that's something that I really enjoy doing thanks to you. Other than that, I don't miss the photography or manipulations. I do miss the community though. The friends and promotion work, so I might get back into that.
But whatever, hey. Been ages. How's that thing?
Been doing good. Gave up photography and photomanipulation, focusing on school and friends. How's your zombies?
