Daily Deviations
If you didn't know, DeviantART has many Gallery Directors (usually referred to as a GD). dA's gallery directors handle Artists Relations in their own galleries. Each gallery (for instance Artistic Nude, Photomanipulation, Conceptual, Vector, etc) is watched over carefully by one or more of these volunteers. They all dedicate a year or more of working on keeping their galleries clean of mis-categorizations (miscats), helping artists within their niche get exposure, and they also choose one Daily Deviation to be feature from their gallery from another deviant.
GDs work very hard to make sure dA runs smoothly, and they dedicate much of their time to look at the art in their galleries. GDs also accept DD suggestions via note from any deviant no matter what symbol they have! I'd like to pose two questions to you my sweet jello puddings:
1. If you could pick ANY deviations (not your own) for a DD, what would it be?
2. If you could pick out of ANY of your own deviations for a DD, what would it be? Please link these in my comments so I can see them.Now, go suggest at LEAST one of these deviations to the appropriate Gallery Director! (Check here if you don't know which gallery director to contact: ~

:thumb88631937:I don't know what I would pick out of my own gallery. To tell you the truth, I can't believe I already have two daily deviations! If it were to be anything, it would be my resources because I'm so proud of them!
Of course, I would be just as happy if you used them instead of suggested them for a DD.

Help Me With Bodily Fluids
As you all might remember, I published a series of articles called Let's Discuss Policy over Coffee and Pie. The first one was on what qualifies as mature content and the second one was on child pornography etc. Both spawned interesting debates and discussion on dA policy and I really enjoyed that. Now, I'm finding myself going back to issue 1's topic on mature content, most specifically bodily floods and functions.
FAQ #165: Do you allow images depicting bodily wastes or fluids?"The deviantART staff reserves the right to remove any image which depicts feces, urine, vomit, or any other bodily waste or byproduct without warning. Such images are considered unacceptable for submission under any circumstances."FAQ #565: You prohibit the submission of 'pornographic imagery'; what do you consider this to be?"Sexual body fluids (actual or simulated).
There should be no depiction of semen or vaginal lubricants."I'm questioning some of this, because there seems to be a gray area. Patrick pointing out something interesting, and that is the depiction of bodily waste via dA's own emoticons. (see: :eatshit
I also wonder about vectored depictions.
dA does allow depictions (not real) of corpses and death as long as they are not overly graphic. (see:
FAQ #7: What is the policy concerning photographs of corpses, cruelty or death?) But, dA does NOT allow depictions or photographs of human or animal abuse.
I wonder what dA's policy is on blood AND depiction of blood. The horror and macabre photography and photomanipulation galleries are riddled with depictions, and I wonder what you guys think? By current definition, is it allowed? And SHOULD it be allowed?

Photography:
Although there are many beautiful Macro photography and plenty of them with drops I love the way this little tendril is cradling the drop. [link]
I love this shot. His whole gallery is unique but this photograph makes me think of how strong women are. It's in the eyes. [link]
Photomanipulations:
This piece give me the feeling of confusion and pain. A feeling of drowning in your own soul. Thats just what I think when I look at it. [link]

As for bodily fluids, there's a gray area on DA alright. The problem is, there are things done with decency and others that are purely made to gross people out. It's hard to filter these last ones
